AllData Pro—features comprehensive in-depth repair information for a variety of vehicles, from 1982 – present. It includes diagrams, diagnostic trouble code charts, technical service bulletins, and maintenance information. ALLDATA makes it is easy to search for and print information to help you in repairing your vehicle. AllData Pro can be accessed at the Library. 

Ancestry Library—This database  provides a tremendous amount of information for anyone researching their family tree.  Information available includes: family  records (birth, death, marriage), public records (land, wills) and family tree charts.   Ancestry can be accessed at the Library. 

Flipster–Patrons now have access to free magazines that are available in an easy to read digital format. Patrons can view the magazines on a computer or tablet using their library card. Magazines include: Car and Driver, People, Prevention and Time. Over 200 magazines are available to read online (current and back issues).

Homework Help (FREE)— Suffolk county residents have free access to Homework Help, Skills-Building and Adult Learning Center. Spanish speaking support is available. Live academic assistance is available from Mon – Sun, 2:00 PM — 11:00 PM EST.

Kanopy— Kanopy offers patrons access via streaming to over 30,000 feature films, documentaries, foreign language, and educational videos.

Online Databases(LIVE-BRARY.COM)— It is a comprehensive collection of web sites and full-text online databases, including magazines, newspapers, directories, encyclopedias, and business resources. Līve-brary.com is a cooperative project of the public libraries in Suffolk County.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center—Patrons have access to information on today’s hottest social issues, from Terrorism to Endangered Species, Stem Cell Research to Gun Control. The database includes: pro and con viewpoint articles, full-text magazines, academic journals and newspapers.

Pronunciator— North Babylon Library cardholders now have access to the online database, Pronunciator. It offers self-paced lessons for sixty languages. Each lesson is comprised of flashcards that are read to viewers in the language that they are trying to learn.

Telephone/Business Directory— Formerly Reference USA this database offers the most up-to-date business and residential information.  Search for jobs, local/out of state businesses, phone number residential/business and much more.

TumbleBooks— TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they’ll love.
