Employment opportunities

 

Full-time and part-time employment opportunities at the Library include:

    ** Clerical positions at the circulation desk or in the technical processing area

    ** Librarian positions in adult or children's reference (M.L.S. degree required)

    ** Page positions for high school students

    ** Custodial positions

Applications for part-time positions are available in the Business Office.  To be eligible for full-time clerical and librarian positions, you must be on the appropriate Civil Service eligible lists.  Information is available at the library or by contacting the Suffolk County Civil Service Department.
